For salons and barbershops
Your chair stays full, and the phone stops ringing mid-cut.
Online booking, reminders, client history and payments for a salon or barbershop in New Brunswick. In English and French, in Canadian dollars, with one advisor who knows your shop.
What it costs you today
-
34%1
Reminders cut no-shows by about a third
Across 29 studies, reminders cut the no-show rate by 34% on average: the median rate fell from 23.1% to 12.5%. Every DeMark booking sends an email reminder 24 hours ahead, plus an earlier one if you want it.
-
81%2
Your clients book when you are closed
81% of regular salon clients sometimes handle their appointments outside business hours, and 69% have given up on booking somewhere because it was too hard. A booking page answers at 11pm; a voicemail does not.
-
77%2
The phone rings in the middle of a colour
77% of clients think calling is the easiest way to change an appointment. Let them reschedule themselves from the link in their confirmation, and the chair keeps moving.

What fixes it
Each part of the system, with the plan that includes it. The labels are read from the plans themselves, so they cannot drift out of date.
-
01
A booking page your clients can use at midnight
Included in Essential
Put the link in your Instagram bio. The client picks a service and a free slot, and it lands in your agenda with the reminder already scheduled.
-
02
Every client's history in one card
Included in Essential
Formula, last visits, the note from the phone call. The stylist who takes over the chair sees the same thing you do.
-
03
Text reminders, with a daily cap
Included in Complete
Email is included in every plan; text messages are on the Complete plan, capped per day so a bad loop can never run up a bill.
-
04
Card payments straight into your own account
Included in Complete
Payments run through your own Stripe account. DeMark never touches the money and never takes a cut of a booking.
-
05
One column per stylist, not one grid for everyone
Included in Complete
The day view splits into a column per person, so a colour that takes 90 minutes never gets double-booked into the chair a client just freed up.
-
06
Every stylist with their own colour and hours
Included in Complete
Add each person with a colour, initials and the services they do. A client picking a time on the booking page only sees who is actually free.
-
07
A deposit at booking time, before the no-show happens
Included in Complete
Ask for a fixed amount or a percentage when a client books, or charge a no-show fee after the fact. Both run through your own Stripe account.
-
08
Prepaid packages that track themselves
Included in Complete
Sell a bundle of five haircuts once, and each booking against it counts down on its own. No more guessing how many visits a client has left.
-
09
A gift card page for the busiest weeks of the year
Included in Complete
A page of its own where anyone can buy a gift card in your own currency, with the balance tracked automatically the day it gets redeemed.
-
10
The waitlist fills the slot someone just cancelled
Included in Complete
A client can ask to be told about an earlier opening for a service and a time of day. When a cancellation frees that slot, they hear about it first.
What your no-shows are worth

No-shows
What an empty slot costs you.
Put in your own three numbers. Nothing is sent anywhere: this runs in your browser.

Questions we get from this trade
- Do you charge a commission on new clients?
- No. You pay the monthly membership and nothing else. Marketplace apps commonly take a one-off cut of a new client's first visit — Fresha 20%, Booksy 30% — and we do not have a marketplace, so there is nothing to take a cut of.
- Can my clients book in French?
- Yes. The booking page, the confirmation and the reminders are in English and French, and each client gets the language they chose.
- I have two stylists. Do I pay per person?
- No. The price is per business, not per user. You invite your colleagues and they get their own login.
- What happens to the clients I already have in a notebook?
- We import them from a spreadsheet for you as part of setting you up. If you would rather start clean, that is fine too.
- Can I take a deposit to stop no-shows?
- Yes. Set a fixed amount or a percentage and the client pays it to confirm the booking, through your own Stripe account. You can also charge a no-show fee afterwards if they skip without cancelling.
Try it with your own clients.
7 days of Complete, card required. Your advisor sets it up with you, and cancelling before the trial ends costs nothing.
